Description of area

On the north east coast of Jamaica in Portland, sixty seven miles from the capital Kingston and the Norman Manley International Airport, one and one half hours by road, is the seafront property for Sea cliff Village in Ross Craig, a proposed gated resort community. The area is surrounded by lush vegetation, unspoiled by urbanization.  The John Crow Mountains, part of the Blue Mountain range, form the backdrop for the scenic property, the Caribbean Sea provides the picturesque foreground.

Port Antonio, the capital of the parish is twenty five minutes by car, and is the center of all commercial activities. There are several commercial banks, the court house, a hospital, supermarkets, cambios, stores and the infamous Errol Flynn mega yacht marina are only a few of the goods and services that are available.

The room count for the accommodation sector in the area is severely under served, high end villas dominate rental accommodations. Port Antonio is rapidly being sought by investors and individuals partly attributable to investments in the recently acquired Trident hotel by Michael Lee Chin (Canadian multi billionaire, Butch Stewart (Sandals chain of hotels)and his acquisition of The Dragon Bay hotel soon to become Sandals Royal Plantation spa resort and other prominent celebrities and luminaries that has made Port Antonio their choice.

The Tourism Master Plan for Jamaica depicts Port Antonio to become a destination for high end tourism. The projections for growth in the tourism sector for Portland is priority number one on the governments agenda. Seacliff Village promises high returns on the investment.
